At Brinkhaus Jewellers, we offer complimentary jewellery cleaning even if you purchased your jewellery elsewhere.
However, if you are like us, and isolation is making you spring clean and re-organise everything, including your home, wardrobe and jewellery box, you may like these simple tips on how to clean your jewellery at home.
In between professional cleans with us, you can offer some TLC to your diamond and coloured stone jewellery by wiping with a soft microfibre cloth and using some lukewarm water and a mild dish soap with a soft child’s toothbrush to gently clean your pieces.
Gently rinse with lukewarm water and dry with a soft, clean cloth or paper towel.
When returning your sparkling jewellery to storage, we recommend storing it in its original packaging to prevent rubbing or banging against other jewellery.
If you have a particular piece that you would like to have professionally cleaned with us, our workshop is currently open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am to 2pm.
We are also offering 1hr rhodium plating at this time to bring your white gold jewellery back to its original lustre.
Contact us or visit us with your pieces if you have any questions on how to care for your jewellery.
